I'm not really looking forward to tomorrow. Handling 120 people out on the lawn is not my idea of spending the ideal Victory Day holiday. RAWR. The only thing that's stopping me from boycotting is the DJ.
And one looks forward to the weekend with two road trips planned - Sonargaon and Faridpur. (:
Oh and eight more days to India. <3

flooring the pedal
I've decided to not let it bother me anymore. I'm on holiday, and holidays are supposed to be fun - which probably explains why I've been out so much the past two days.
Dinner at Casablanca was really good. I was apprehensive for it was a buffet, and I'm more of an a la carte person, but the spread featured delicious seafood, as part of their ongoing festival, so no harm done.
Mahi's birthday went without any hoo-hah cos apparently the big bash is scheduled for tomorrow. Along with the luncheon that K's hosting in prep for his presidency campaign and from what I hear, looks like I'll be returning from India with a bottle of Krug tucked in my arm. (:
That's all.

even the walls have ears
It was cathartic, to say the least.
Working on the portfolio, but lacking a muse. kobi kobi bhaab, chonder obhaab.
Looking forward to the tenth.

life in the city
It's been four days in Dhaka, and it doesn't even feel like I was absent for ten months - seamlessly flowing back into the lives and happenings of so many people, and of course getting embroiled in a few too many problems. Seems like that's what everyone has left in their lives, nothing else - and money never did buy happiness.
But still, it's good to be back home. I'm finally able to breathe, without having to worry about the consequences, or the repercussions. A few major stuff planned for the weeks ahead, but on average it's an aimless existence. For the week ahead - ISD Fair, eating out, adda-ing with friends, and then wrapping it up with the party.
One downside - hujoor/huzoor. I'm not really in the mood to learn Arabic. ):

-
time heals all wounds but words have the ability to pick at the scars they leave behind. i should have simply trusted my gut instinct - even though that would have rendered me incapable of verifying my impression of you, i wouldn't have had to go through the prospect of entering another phase. cos that'd simply be one too many. i'm glad it's all coming to an end. a fresh start is what i really need - away from you, away from everything.
reinstating the breakfast club seems all too tempting now - but seems like fate has a different plan.
